Double breathing disorder may double heart danger

Summary

This study looks at how having both sleep apnea and COPD (called overlap syndrome) affects the heart and blood vessels. Researchers will compare 240 adults aged 40-79 who have one or both conditions. They will also test if using a breathing machine at night or extra oxygen can improve heart health.
