First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how deep brain stimulation (DBS) affects sleep and movement in people with Parkinson's disease. Twenty participants who already have a DBS device will spend two nights in a sleep lab—one night with the device on and one with it off. Researchers will measure sleep quality, daytime sleepiness, and motor symptoms to see if DBS helps or harms sleep.
