First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether teaching people who sleep less than 7 hours a night how to improve their sleep could lower their blood pressure while they sleep. 66 adults took part, with some getting sleep advice and others not. Researchers measured blood pressure during sleep and awake times over 8 weeks to see if better sleep helps.
