Summary

This study tested whether holding a newborn skin-to-skin right after a C-section (within 5 minutes) or within the first hour improves breastfeeding, reduces anxiety, and affects bleeding and baby health. 92 mothers and their newborns took part. The goal was to see if early contact makes a difference in the first 24 hours.
