First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special skin protectant spray (3M Cavilon Advanced) helps heal partial-thickness wounds caused by moisture (like from incontinence or stoma leaks) faster than standard hospital care. About 36 adults in hospitals will be randomly assigned to get either the spray or usual treatment. Researchers will track healing time, pain, and nursing effort over up to 21 days.
