First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring skin conductance (a sign of nerve activity) can help predict sudden drops in blood pressure after spinal anesthesia in older adults with cancer. About 100 patients aged 65 and older having urologic cancer surgery will be monitored. The goal is to find a simple, noninvasive way to identify those at risk and improve safety during surgery.
