Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week sitting Tai Chi program can improve thinking, movement, mood, and daily function in chronic stroke survivors who have memory or thinking problems. About 176 participants (88 stroke survivors and 88 caregivers) will be randomly assigned to either the Tai Chi group or a usual-care waiting list. The program involves 40-minute sessions, three times a week, led by a trained nurse.
