NCT ID NCT07512739
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a 12-week sitting Tai Chi program can improve cognitive function, arm movement, balance, and mood in chronic stroke survivors who have memory or thinking problems. About 176 participants (88 stroke survivors and 88 caregivers) will be randomly assigned to either the Tai Chi group or a usual-care control group. The program is designed to be safe and accessible for people with physical limitations after a stroke.
