NCT ID NCT06813014
First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at how healthy people respond to sitagliptin, an FDA-approved diabetes drug. Researchers want to understand why some people produce more insulin after taking the drug. About 400 healthy, non-diabetic volunteers from the Old Order Amish community will take part in two clinic visits over 7 weeks. Each visit includes a sugar drink test and blood draws to measure glucose and insulin levels.
