First-Ever trial aims to stop seizures before they start in rare genetic disorder

Summary
This study is testing if a drug called sirolimus, given early in life, can prevent or delay the onset of seizures in infants diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). It will enroll 64 infants under 7 months old who have TSC but have not yet had seizures. The goal is to see if this targeted treatment can improve long-term brain development and quality of life by stopping a major symptom before it begins.
