First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special CT scan done in the treatment room can accurately detect brain bleeding in stroke patients. If it works, it could speed up diagnosis and treatment by eliminating the need for a separate scan. The study involves 252 adults with stroke symptoms and compares the new scan to the standard one.
