Emergency doctors learn to read brain scans with online training

NCT ID NCT05427838

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether online training can improve how well emergency department doctors interpret CT head scans. 173 clinicians from 6 UK hospitals took part. One group received training early, while a control group got it later. The goal was to see if training boosts accuracy and confidence, without changing patient care since doctors still relied on radiologists' reports.
