First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether extra simulation-based team training for doctors and nurses in children's hospitals improves teamwork, patient safety, and newborn health. About 1,200 healthcare workers from eight pediatric departments took part; four departments received extra training and four did not. Researchers measured sick leave, safety culture, and newborn Apgar scores to see if the training made a difference.
