New hope for kids with tough cancers: testing a novel pill with chemo
NCT ID NCT06541262
Summary
This study is testing a new, unapproved pill called silmitasertib, given alongside standard chemotherapy drugs. It aims to find a safe and effective dose for children and young adults under 30 whose solid tumors (like neuroblastoma or sarcoma) have come back or stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals are to check the safety of this combination and see if it can shrink tumors and help patients live longer without their cancer progressing.
