New scan could spot stroke damage more clearly

Summary

This study will test a new radioactive tracer called FBFP in 30 stroke patients and 20 healthy volunteers. The tracer is used with a PET/MR scanner to take detailed pictures of the brain. The goal is to see if FBFP can help doctors diagnose and understand stroke better. Participants will have scans and follow-up visits at 6 and 12 months, with no treatment involved.
