Shower or shun? new study tests safety of drains getting wet after breast surgery

Summary
This study is for women who have had the first stage of implant-based breast reconstruction and have surgical drain tubes in place. The goal is to see if showering 48 hours after surgery increases the risk of infection or affects quality of life. About 100 participants will be followed for 90 days to track infections and complete a survey about their experience.
