First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether showering after surgery while drains are still in place raises the risk of infection or other complications. It will include 100 people having breast reductions or tummy tucks at one medical center. Half will be told they can shower, and half will be told to wait until drains are removed. The goal is to see if showering is safe and how satisfied patients are.
