Can simple home exercises prevent crippling shoulder pain for wheelchair users?
NCT ID NCT07245706
Summary
This study aims to see if a home-based shoulder strength training program can improve shoulder health and reduce pain for people who use manual wheelchairs after a recent spinal cord injury. Researchers will test whether starting the training 3 months or 12 months after leaving rehab makes a difference. They will measure shoulder pain, strength, daily activity, and overall quality of life over 15 months.
