Could prostate cancer treatment be cut from 5 weeks to 4?

NCT ID NCT07483658

Summary

This study compares two radiation therapy schedules for men whose prostate cancer returns after surgery. Researchers want to see if a shorter 4-week treatment causes no more side effects than the standard 5-week approach while keeping cancer under control. The study will enroll 434 men who've had prostate surgery but show signs of cancer returning through rising PSA levels.
