First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether carrying heavy shopping bags twice a week for 15 minutes could help adults who don't do strength exercises improve their muscle mass, strength, and endurance. 45 people took part, with one group carrying bags in a lab and the other group sticking to their normal routine. The goal was to see if this everyday activity could be a simple way to get stronger.
