Summary

This study tested whether adding shockwave therapy to simple hand exercises helps people with carpal tunnel syndrome feel less pain and use their hands better. Twenty-six adults with mild to moderate symptoms received either shockwave plus exercises or physical therapy plus exercises over four weeks. The goal was to see if the shockwave group had greater improvements in pain and hand function.
