Shock wave therapy may ease shoulder blade woes

NCT ID NCT07633340

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding shock wave therapy to standard physical rehabilitation helps people with scapular dyskinesis, a condition where the shoulder blade moves abnormally. About 100 adults who have had symptoms for at least six months will be split into two groups: one gets shock waves plus rehab, the other gets rehab alone. The goal is to see which approach better improves shoulder movement and function.
