First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether adding shock wave therapy to a standard exercise program can reduce pain and improve shoulder function in people with rotator cuff tendinopathy. Fifty adults aged 30 to 55 with chronic shoulder pain will receive either exercises alone or exercises plus shock waves once a week for six weeks. The goal is to see if the combination leads to better tendon healing and strength.
