First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at how a class of diabetes drugs called SGLT2 inhibitors affects kidney function in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Researchers compared 60 patients with and without diabetes to see if the drugs helped preserve kidney function. The goal was to understand if these drugs benefit all CKD patients, not just those with diabetes.
