First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at how different sex hormone levels in women affect muscle growth from physical training. Researchers will measure changes in muscle mass, fat, and tendons in 60 women with natural cycles, hormonal IUDs, or hormonal contraception. The goal is to understand how hormones influence exercise results, not to test a treatment.
