Can your birth control change how your body builds muscle?
NCT ID NCT07115849
Summary
This study aims to understand how different female hormone profiles—created by using different types of birth control—affect how the body builds muscle and changes in response to exercise. Researchers will follow 60 women for four months as they participate in a physical training program, measuring muscle mass, body fat, strength, and other health markers. The goal is to gather knowledge about how hormones influence training results, not to provide a treatment.
