Sex-Specific Alzheimer's blood tests could revolutionize early detection

NCT ID NCT07224139

Summary

This study aims to understand how blood tests for Alzheimer's disease work differently in men and women. Researchers will analyze blood samples from over 13,000 older adults to see if these tests predict dementia risk differently based on sex and other health factors. The goal is to create personalized risk scores that could help identify people at highest risk for early intervention.
