First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests if a newer sedative, remimazolam, works better than the standard drug propofol for people undergoing endoscopy (a tube camera procedure). The goal is to see which drug provides safer and more comfortable sedation. About 100 adults having planned endoscopy will take part, and the study will measure how well the sedation works and how patients feel.
