First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested a computer program that sorts sepsis patients into four groups based on their vital signs in the first 8 hours. The goal was to see if these groups have different outcomes, which could help doctors choose the right treatments in the future. Over 1,900 adults took part, but the program did not change their care.
