This study observes about 1,950 emergency patients with suspected sepsis to see how well certain blood markers (like calprotectin) and rapid DNA tests can detect infections. The goal is to improve diagnosis and tailor treatment to each patient. Participants are adults admitted to Oslo University Hospital's emergency department.
