Massive asian study aims to create early warning system for child sepsis

Summary

This study will enroll 40,000 children under 18 with suspected infections across Asia to develop and validate an early recognition tool for sepsis. Researchers will test the Phoenix Sepsis Score and create a new toolkit (SORT) to help doctors identify sepsis earlier. The goal is to improve survival by catching the condition sooner in diverse healthcare settings.
