Summary

This study aims to find biological markers that can predict whether sepsis will progress to septic shock, a life-threatening condition. Researchers will compare epigenetic markers in blood samples from 25 male patients aged 45-75 who develop sepsis after major digestive cancer surgery. The goal is to improve early identification of high-risk patients.
