Scientists hunt for sepsis danger signals in Men's blood
NCT ID NCT06446947
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers that can predict which sepsis patients will get much worse and develop septic shock. Researchers will compare blood samples from 25 male patients who have sepsis after major digestive cancer surgery. They are looking for differences between men whose sepsis stays stable and those whose condition deteriorates into life-threatening shock.
