Hunting for sepsis fingerprints in blood
NCT ID NCT04203979
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to diagnose sepsis quickly and accurately in emergency rooms. Researchers will observe about 1500 adult patients with suspected sepsis, collecting blood samples to test various markers and new molecular methods. The goal is to identify patterns in the blood that can help doctors distinguish sepsis from other conditions more reliably than current tests.
