First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug (NAI) added to usual care for critically ill adults with sepsis who have persistently low levels of a key immune cell (lymphocytes). The goal is to see if the drug can help the immune system recover and lower the risk of death within 28 days. About 50 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug plus standard care or standard care alone.
