Summary
This study aims to better understand how heart and blood vessel problems affect people with severe sepsis. Researchers will observe 400 adults hospitalized with sepsis who need medication to support their blood pressure. They will perform heart ultrasounds, blood tests, and check blood vessel function to see if specific patterns are linked to a patient's chance of survival one year later.
