First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how sensory sensitivities affect sleep and emotions in autistic children ages 6 to 10. Researchers will test a special bedtime routine designed to lower arousal levels in children who are overly sensitive to touch, sound, or other sensations. The goal is to see if this approach can help them fall asleep faster, sleep more soundly, and have fewer emotional meltdowns at night.
