First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests two existing drugs, perampanel (used for epilepsy) and senicapoc (previously tested for blood disorders), alone and together, in adults with newly diagnosed glioblastoma. The goal is to see if these drugs are safe and can reach the brain to slow tumor growth. About 36 participants will receive the drugs alongside standard treatment, with close monitoring for side effects.
