NCT ID NCT06041217

Summary

This study tested whether a weekly injection called semaglutide helps adults with overweight or obesity lose weight. About 240 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the real medication or a placebo (dummy injection) for one year. Researchers measured how much weight people lost and checked for effects on health measures like blood pressure and cholesterol.
