Summary
This study is testing if a medication called semaglutide, currently used for diabetes, can help people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers want to see if the drug can reduce liver fat and inflammation. They are also studying how the liver reacts to sugar to better understand the disease and predict who might benefit most from the treatment.
