Summary
This study tests whether seltorexant, a drug that targets sleep, can improve depressive symptoms in 600 adults with major depression and insomnia. Participants receive either the drug or a placebo for several weeks, then all may receive the drug long-term. The goal is to see if treating sleep problems can ease depression.
