NCT ID NCT06895720
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a foam roller (self-myofascial release) before soccer practice can help prevent injuries and improve performance in young male players aged 14 to 18. About 65 athletes will be split into two groups: one that uses the roller on their legs twice a week and one that does not. Researchers will measure flexibility, balance, jumping ability, and muscle stiffness over 16 weeks to see if the rolling group has fewer injuries and better physical function.
