First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares HPV testing on self-collected vaginal samples versus samples collected by a doctor during a pelvic exam. About 500 people referred for colposcopy or cervical procedures will provide both types of samples. The goal is to see if self-collection is accurate enough to increase screening access and comfort.
