Patients take pain control into their own hands

NCT ID NCT06498713

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether patients can safely and effectively self-administer liquid acetaminophen (Tylenol) for pain after shoulder replacement surgery. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical and acceptable to patients compared to nurses giving pills. The study will measure pain levels, medication use, and how quickly patients get their pain relief.
