First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether teaching veterans to do acupressure on themselves can reduce how much chronic low back pain interferes with daily life. About 300 veterans with long-term back pain took part. Half learned acupressure right away and practiced daily for 6 weeks; the other half learned after 10 weeks. The goal was to see if pain interference, fatigue, and sleep improved.
