First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 120 women having minor gynecologic surgery to see how different sedation drugs affect early mental recovery. Participants received one of three drug combinations: propofol-fentanyl, ketamine-fentanyl, or a mix of all three. Researchers measured thinking ability before and after surgery using a simple test. The goal was to find which sedation method helps patients think clearly sooner after the procedure.
