First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study compares the health and social effects of buying regulated cannabis from Swiss pharmacies versus buying it on the illegal market. About 1,177 regular cannabis users are randomly assigned to either group and followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if pharmacy access encourages safer use, like vaping instead of smoking, and reduces harm.
