Brain-Retraining device offers hope for untreatable pancreatic pain

NCT ID NCT07174609

Summary

This study is testing whether Scrambler Therapy, a non-invasive device that delivers gentle electrical signals through the skin, can help reduce severe abdominal pain in adults with chronic pancreatitis. About 40 participants who still have pain despite standard treatments will receive 5-10 sessions of the therapy and be followed for 3 months. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and effective enough to justify larger future studies.
