Summary

This study aims to see if surgery to correct severe spinal curvature (scoliosis) in children and young adults with cerebral palsy can improve their nutrition, help them gain weight, and enhance their quality of life. Researchers will measure food intake, weight, body composition, and breathing before and after the standard surgical procedure. The goal is to better understand the full benefits of this surgery to help families and doctors make informed treatment decisions.
