School nurses join diabetes care team in new pilot study

Summary
This study tests a new program called SPACE that brings together school nurses, parents, and diabetes doctors to help children with type 1 diabetes manage their condition at school. About 30 children will take part to see if this team approach is practical and well-liked. The goal is to make diabetes care easier and more supportive during the school day.
