First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests a 12-week active play program in Bangladeshi primary schools to see if it helps children increase physical activity, reduce sitting time, improve sleep, and develop motor skills like running and jumping. About 354 children from 8 schools will take part, with half receiving the program and half continuing their usual routine. Researchers will measure changes using activity trackers and skill tests before, right after, and 3 months after the program ends.
