First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This observational study is looking at how the health of tiny blood vessels in the skin relates to heart disease risk. Researchers will measure blood flow in the skin using special devices and compare it to detailed heart scans in 900 people aged 60-75. The goal is to see if a simple, non-invasive skin test can help detect early signs of heart problems.
